Center on Peace and Security Studies
The Roosevelt Institution
University of California, Davis
The Centre on Peace and Security is composed of students who are interested in any and all aspects of International Affairs: Foreign Policy, foreign politics, terrorism, combating global poverty, conflict resolution, global interdependence, non-proliferation, the International System and its discontents, and much much more. We discuss, debate, research and write on all of these issues. Our writings range from op-eds to full blown articles and publications. In addition, our Research Fellows provide a forum for any student interested in talking about global issues.
The possibilities for research areas are unlimited, and new ideas are always encouraged. Students already conducting research in the field of peace and security who would like to bring it to the Center are highly encouraged to do so. We offer the opportunity to discuss your research, connect you with professionals, and help you refine and promote your final product.
The Center For Peace and Security meets every week on Saturday at Mishkas Cafe, at 5PM. Every other week is a full Center meeting, while the off weeks are informal working sessions for our Fellows to work on their projects.
This Week: No Meeting (Mother's Day weekend)
